The Gx FuzzFace FullerMod is modeled after the classic Fuzz Face pedal(*), but with the Fuller Mods. The classical Fuzz Face originated in 1966. Back then, the pedal did not get that much attention as it lacked the very popular tube sound. Nowadays, it is considered a classic thanks to Jimi Hendrix using it extensively. The classic Fuzz Face has two controls: Volume and Fuzz. Now, with the Fuller mods 2, further controls are introduced. The input and drive knobs are used in order to “clean” up the distortion that the Fuzz Face produces, crafting more subtle shades of softer distortion.
