This is an example of how automatic wah activation works when the expression pedal is pressed. The "depth" parameter of "GXQUACK" plugin is assigned to a "CV attenuverter booster" plugin while the "on /off" parameter is assigned to a "CV Parameter Modulation" plugin. The midi expression pedal drives the "semitone" parameter of "MIDI to CV mono" plugin which converts the MIDI signal to a CV ranging from -1 to 1. Since "depth" parameter of "GXQUACK" ranges from -5 to 5, we need to boost (multiply x5) the "MIDI to CV mono" output signal. The "GXQUACK"'s "on/off" parameter is OFF when CV=0, ON when CV>0 so we need to modulate (via "CV Parameter Modulation" plugin) the available CV range (-5 to 5) in order to be 0 when expression pedal is fully released so it will be greather than zero as soon it is moved. So when the expression pedal is moved, the "GXQUACK" becomes active. When the pedal returns to zero position, "GXQUACK" gets deactivated.
