The Missing Link
I'm using the Duo to process the audio coming out of the Novation Circuit (synths + beats). The Invada Compressor and Calf Saturator are used to add punch and warmth. At the same time the Duo is used as a (very fancy) USB MIDI host. Data from a MIDI keyboard is processed and sent to the Circuit over two different channels: Ch1: controls the bass-synth Ch2: controls the strummy chords The bottom MIDI chain transforms the note played on the bass synth into a chord that is 3 octaves up from the bass note, and strums that chord in a rhythmic fashion.
